Two more birds in the Kenora District have been confirmed to have the West Nile Virus.
The Northwest Health Unit says a crow found in the Kenora area and one in Sioux Narrows tested positive this week.
Al Mathers is an environment health officer with the Health Unit and says they have not had 14 birds test positive for the virus.

Mathers says they will now focus their attention on areas that haven’t had any birds test positive for West Nile.
So far Dryden, Atikokan, Red Lake, Fort Frances and Kenora have all turned in birds with the virus.
