Morgan Fuels Participates In Truck Rodeo

Keeping things safe for fuel truck drivers in Northwestern Ontario.
Morgan Fuels and Imperial Oil held a “Truck Rodeo” this afternoon at the Dryden Airport.
The event tests drivers skill levels and tests them on equipment knowledge.
Senior Accountant Executive with Imperial Oil Martyn Iles says they tried to have some fun with it by letting the drivers take part in an obstacle course.
Iles says they also simulated a delivery to a customer, making sure all safety precautions were being met.
The top three drivers who passed the test with the highest grade were awarded prizes.
While this “rodeo” featured drivers from Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake, Dryden, Vermilion Bay and Kenora, Iles says they will have another rodeo in Atlantic Canada later this year and in Central Canada next year.
Morgan Fuels operates about 15 trucks in Northwestern Ontario.
