Mosquito Trapping Set to Begin

The Northwestern Health Unit plans to use dry ice and black light in the next phase of its West Nile virus monitoring campaign.
The Unit will start setting up traps next week which are designed to catch the insects alive.
The trap uses a cylinder cooler, dry ice, a black light and a fan to suck the critters into a small plastic bucket.
Live mosquitoes will then be sent to Brock University in St. Catherines for testing.
