School buses have been cancelled across most of the region.
Buses won’t be running in Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Sioux Lookout, Hudson, Red Lake and Kenora.
Local buses are able to run in Ignace, Upsala, Pickle Lake and Ear Falls.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium is concerned with poor road conditions and limited visibility due to blowing snow.
All schools remain open, with the exception of Waabshki Penasi school in Wabigoon Lake.
