‘Movember’ campaign underway in Canada

It’s time to grow out that moustache.

The 17th annual Movember campaign is underway.

Men across the country are growing a moustache this month, and raising money for men’s health.

According to stats from the Movember campaign, 1 in 8 men in this country will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed in young men.

3 out of 4 deaths by suicide in Canada are men.

Last year, Canadian men grew about 2,450 feet of moustache hair during Movember, and millions of dollars have been raised since 2006.
