MP In Discussions With Via Rail

Thunder Bay-Superior North MP Bruce Hyer is happy Via Rail is looking into its options for passenger rail service between Winnipeg and Toronto.
However, he says it’s not going to happen over night.
Hyer says he’s been in talks with the company.
He notes they are evaluating the situation on a daily basis and can’t say where the service will run.
Earlier this month, Via Rail suspended service between Winnipeg and Toronto until further notice.
