MP Wants To Help Smaller Canadian Legions

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty is trying to get more financial help for Royal Canadian Legions
He’s filed a motion in the House of Commons calling for an infrastructure renewal fund for them to access for capital improvements.
Rafferty says it would be beneficial to small legions in Northern Ontario.
He proposes that the fund match the amount raised at a local level.
