MPP Reacts To Transfield Decision

The MPP for Kenora-Rainy River is unhappy Transfield has lost its contract for highway maintenance in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.
Campbell says her office received very few complaints this past winter about the state of local highways.
Campbell notes three out of four contractors were fined for failing to meet their contract requirements over the past year.
However, she feels the move was coming.
Campbell adds she will continue to work on creating an all party committee to investigate maintenance contracts.
