An official with Unifor in Thunder Bay is thrilled MPP Bill Mauro is endorsing the union’s call for more Canadian content in provincial government transit contracts.
Such a regulation would have a direct affect on the Bombardier plant in Thunder Bay.
Unifor’s Andy Savela says Mauro’s backing is critical. Savela claims it’s critical for the union to keep the issue alive to make sure it get’s over any hurdles.
