The Legislature is back in session after the Christmas break.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath helped kicked off question period Tuesday with a concern that Ontarians are in for a big round of fee increases in the upcoming budget.
Horwath says the Premier is set to introduce “unfair taxes, tolls and fees.”
Premier Kathleen Wynne says the budget will address various concerns, but hinted new fees are necessary to provide improved transit and infrastructure.
Conservative leader Tim Hudak hammered the Premier claiming no new jobs have been created in the province since she came to power a year ago.
Premier Wynne countered by saying 95,000 net new jobs have been created in the last year.
