The 39th Parliment of Canada has begun.
For the 1st time in 13 years, the Conservatives are on the Government
side of the House of Commons.
Liberal Roger Valley is anxious to get ot work, the Kenora MP admits it will be a little strange at 1st to see Stephen Harper as Prime Minister.

Members are electing the Speaker today.
Sudbury area MP Dianne Marleau is running but Valley indicates he likes the work done in the past by Peter Milliken from Kingston.
No Conservatives are running for the post, which will effectively tip the balance of power slightly in the Tories favour which could prove crucial in the weeks & months to come.
