MP’s Discuss Long Gun Registry Abolish Bill

The Conservatives are hoping the third time is a charm.
The Harper Government has introduced legislation once again to abolish the federal long gun registry.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says they’ve waited a long time for this day.
Rickford notes its not necessarily a slam dunk yet and he’s urging Northern MP’s to support the Legislation.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty says he’s going to listen to his constituents on how they feel about the latest legislation.
The NDP member says the new legislation is similar to previous private members bills.
Rickford says it could be some time in the new year before the legislation is finally passed in the House of Commons.
