Several Weather Alerts to be Aware of today;
First – Dryden, Ignace, Vermilion Bay, Ear Falls, Sioux Lookout, Hudson and Fort Frances are all under a “SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH.” Red Lake and Kenora have just escalated to a ‘SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING.”
Doppler Radar at CKDR.NET – News – Weather is tracking a band of thunderstorm activity sweeping into the area. Storm cells are over Kenora and stretchng noth well past Red Lake. This system appears to be tracking eastward. 
Next – Dryden and Vermilion Bay also remain under a ‘HEAT WARNING’ with temperatures of +29 but ‘feeling like’ +36 with the dreaded Humidex. The heat wave should break Tuesday.
