The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and the City of Dryden have teamed up to help you prepare for this years elections.
Clerk Debra Kincaid says a Candidate and Third-Party Advertisers Information Session is being held at City Hall next Wednesday.
Information will be provided on the role of council and staff, the nomination process, financial filing, the campaign period, candidate duties and responsibilities and third party advertisers.
Kincaid says the session is perfect for anyone looking to run for Council, Mayor or School Board and is open to residents of Dryden, Machin and Ignace.
There will be a question and answer period following the presentation.
There is no charge to attend, but you are required to pre-register by Thursday.
