OPP have released the names of 2-people killed in last week’s multiple
vehicle crash east of Kenora.
One of the victims has been identified as 39-year-old Gary Geneau from
Nanaimo, British Columbia.
He was the driver of a pick-up truck which had been towing a trailor.
The passenger in the half-ton has been identified as 43-year-old Greg
Filipowski from Edmonton, Alberta.
Police say Geneau was traveling east when his truck collided with a
westbound transport Thursday morning between Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
