NAN Chief in Winnipeg

Nishnawbe-Aski Nation Grand Chief Stan Beardy is in Winnipeg as Chiefs from 4 Provinces talk strategy before the First Nations summit with the Prime Minister on January 24th.
Beardy says his people live in poverty while governments make millions off the north’s natural resources.
Beardy says he has managed to convince some people to give diplomacy a chance but he says that hasn’t paid off so far.
