NAN Grand Chief Re-Elected

Stan Beardy has been re-elected Grand Chief of the Nishnwabe-Aski
Nation.
Beardy defeated Brian Davey and Mike Metabtawabin on the first ballot
during Thursday’s election in Sachigo Lake First Nation.
In his third term as NAN leader, he says the main issue is to bring
hope to Northwestern Ontario aboriginals.
Alvin Fiddler, Roseanne Archibald and Terry Waboose were elected as
Deputy Grand Chiefs.
