Nishnawbe Aski Nation says a lack of housing and infrastructure is putting the First Nation in crisis.
NAN presented several recommendations to the Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples last week.
Among them include immediate funding to help alleviate overcrowding and deplorable housing conditions.
The Senate Committee is currently studying on-reserve infrastructure.
