NAN Meeting

Thunder Bay is home to a major assembly of first nations today.
Beginning later today, Chiefs from 49 Nishnawbe Aski First Nation communities will meet to discuss a variety of issues including police service, infrastructure and opportunities, health, social services and more.
The assembly will also welcome Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, Michael Bryant, Minister of Natural Resources, Donna Cansfield and Minister of Northern Development and Mines, Michael Gravelle.
