NAN Police Will Be Out With OPP

Nishnawbe-Aski Police and the OPP will be teaming up this winter to
ensure the winter road network and snowmobile trails remain safe.
Officers will be on regular patrol to promote the safe use of the roads
and trails.
Police will also be on alert to intercept traffickers of alcohol for
drugs.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police stress it’s their intention to respect the
traditional usage of roads by not interfering with NAN citizens that are
hunting and trapping on their traditional land.
