A little less than a month after Chiefs of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation voted to remove Derek Fox from the position of Grand Chief, the organization has set a date for a by-election to replace him.
It will take place during the 2023 Keewaywin Conference on August 16th.
Fox was removed during a closed door meeting on May 11th, months after he was suspended for violating the Executive Council Code of Conduct, prompting several investigations.
In a social media post NAN states it will release more information soon on its website.
