The Nishnawbe-Aski Nation is calling for the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement to be scrapped.
The CBFA is made up of 21 forest companies who want to regulate forests and protected areas.
Stan Beardy says he wants the CBFA to be eliminated.
Beardy notes the Agency wants to govern land that falls under First Nation jurisdiction.
