Ontario’s party leaders are being asked to voice their thoughts on
First Nation issues during the Fall election.
Nishnawbe-Aski Nation Grand Chief Stan Beardy has sent an open letter
to the 4-political leaders and he says aboriginals need to be involved in
the future development of the Far North’s economy.
Beardy wants the parties to address first nation consultation, resource
revenue sharing, land-use planning and moratoriums.
