The Nishnawbe Police Service is welcoming five new police officers to their team.
The graduating officers are Harley McWatch, Jordan Anness, Chris Lagrange, Henry Koosees and Braden Etherington.
The officers were presented their badges on Friday in Thunder Bay.
They will be at various postings for their Coach Officer Training to areas such as Fort Hope, Moose Factory, Sandy Lake and Kashechewan First Nations.
The Presentation Ceremony featured speeches by Police Chief Terry Armstrong, Grand Chief Alvin Fiddler of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation and Thunder Bay-Superior North MP Patty Hajdu.
