NAPS Will Participate In Global Tweet-A-Thon

Police in Northwestern Ontario will be participating in a global Tweet-A-Thon on Friday.
The Nishnawbe-Aski Police are one of the many forces that will be posting on the social media website, starting at 8am.
Sergeant Jackie George says they will be using the hashtag “poltwt” to inform the public about their daily activities such as patrolling, facts about their police force, recruitment and other interesting facts.
She says that this will bring everyone a bit closer together and make the public more aware about police issues through social media.
The public can also look at the NAPS Facebook page for updates and sharing of tweets.
