Nation To Nation Bike Tour Targets Local Youth

KAIROS and the Otesha Project have partnered to to create the Nation to Nation Bike Tour.
KAIROS Program Coordinator Katy Quinn encourages youth from Northwestern Ontario to take part in the event which runs from July 27th to August 14th.
Quinn says they will be able to learn about the nation to nation relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples and what that means, as well as understanding the past.
There is a cost to participate but Quinn says they will offer bikes and gear and assist with travel costs.
There will also be camping, swimming and a number of learning activities.
Applications must be submitted as soon as possible and can be done so through by visiting http://otesha.ca/content/nation-nation-tour-2013.
