The Nishnawbe Aski Nation is welcoming the federal government’s pre-inquiry meetings in Thunder Bay this week.
It’s part of the design process for a national inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
The Minister of Status of Women and Indigenous and Northern Affairs Minister will be meeting with family members Wednesday to seek input on the creation of the probe.
