One of Canada’s biggest Hockey Tournaments will begin today in Kenora.
The City is playing host to the National Midget Championships with 6 teams taking part.
Doug Novak is Coach of the Kenora ‘AAA’ Stars and he is excited to get going.
The Stars roster includes 4 players from Red Lake, a pair of Sioux Lookout kids and Colin Spencer of Dryden.
Novak says he has been impressed with Spencer’s play this season.
Kenora takes on the Toronto Marlboros at 8:00 tonight.
