Natural gas costs are going up.
The Ontario Energy Board has approved a rate increase for Enbridge Gas that takes effect Thursday, October 1.
For the company’s northwestern Ontario customers, the increase amounts to an extra $7 over the course of a year.
Enbridge says higher prices for gas as demand increases this winter is the reason for the hike.
