Brace for another increase in natural gas prices next month.
The NDP says Enbridge will increase rates as of October 1.
In the northwest region they will be going up another 6.9% or about $89 a year.
The hike is in addition to a 20% bump on July 1.
Overall, rates have more than doubled in the past year.
According to the Ontario Energy Board, rates have gone up in northwestern Ontario by 126.7% from October 1, 2021.
