Kenora-Rainy River MP Bob Nault says four-laning the Trans-Canada Highway across the region and across the nation is not only feasible, it is do-able.
Recent reports from Ottawa suggested some cabinet ministers wanted Prime Minister Chretien to undertake expanding the national highway system as his legacy.
Nault says he has always been in favour of large infrastructure projects and believes Premier Ernie Eves could be part of highway discussions.
