NB company joins lithium search in Ontario

A New Brunswick company is the latest to enter the search for lithium in northwestern Ontario.

Slam Exploration says it has entered into an agreement to take over two properties near Ear Falls.

The area, referred to as the New Lithium Discoveries, covers 4,700 hectares over the two sites.

The northwest claim group comprises 50 claims on 1,018 hectares.

The southern group has 180 claim units covering 3,678 hectares of land.

Both sites are within proximity of a recent lithium discovery by Beyond Lithium.

The company says the Ear Falls project is a significant addition to its mineral portfolio which has been mainly focused in New Brunswick where it

holds a large portfolio of gold, REE and base metal projects.

Slam is now developing an exploration program for the areas.
