NDP ‘Buy In Ontario’ Plan

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton has introduced a ‘Buy in Ontario’
motion.
The Private Members Bill will be tabled in the Legislature Monday.
The transit bill would require final assembly to be done in Ontario
with 50% of the contract coming from Canadian parts or labour.
Hampton says over the next 15-years, Ontario will be home to almost
every major transit project in Canada.
