NDP Claim Liberal MP’s Don’t Care About the Nort

A motion calling for a strategy to help the struggling forestry sector
has been defeated.
NDP Leader Jack Layton says all 5 Northern Ontario Liberal MP’s
abstained from voting over fear it would lead to a non-confidence vote.
Layton says the area MP’s care more about their jobs then the people of
Northern Ontario.
The Bloc Quebecois and NDP voted for the creation of the forestry strategy, while the Conservatives voted against the Bill.
