NDP Leader Jack Layton feels his party is the only one
interested in helping Northern Ontario and the Forest
Industry.
A motion calling for a Forest Strategy was defeated
yesterday in the House of Commons.
Layton says the New Democrats stood up for the
communities affected by the crippled forest industry.
