Howard Hampton is demanding the Province take action to sustain
forestry jobs in Northern Ontario.
The latest round of cuts came from Buchanan this week in Thunder Bay
with 280-jobs disappearing.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says the Government is letting down the
North by standing on the sidelines, doing nothing.
Hampton adds the forest industry is being pummeled by a domino effect
and notes the main culprit is the Province’s flawed electricity plan.
