NDP Leader Less Than Impressed With Statement

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says the Liberals left the North out of their Fall Economic Statement.
Horwath points to a lack of northern content in Thursday’s speech.
She says Sousa mentioned the Ring of Fire, but didn’t go in to detail about it in any way.
She also points to the lack of mention for training for First Nations, and really the only thing mentioned about First Nations concerns was that the Federal Government needs to do more to address it.
Horwath adds the bad policies in the economic statement will be felt first in the North.
