The loss of jobs in the forestry and manufacturing sectors will top the
agenda for the NDP as the Legislature resumes sitting today.
Leader Howard Hampton says 10,000 jobs have been lost across the
North and he will continue to press the Premier to do something.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says he will also push for additional
funding for long term care homes and homes for the aged as well as the uploading of some services from Municipalities.
Hampton predicts this session should last about 8-to-10 weeks.
