NDP Leader Releases Economic Stimulus Plan

The Provincial Government is being asked to adopt the NDP’s 6-point
economic stimulus plan.
Leader Howard Hampton says the first thing that is needed is the
investment of Federal funds.
Hampton says the McGuinty Government is sitting on 1-billion dollars in Federal cash.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP is also calling for a ‘Buy Ontario’ program,
changes to the employment standards law and improvements to the industrial
hydro rate.
Hampton also wants to see the appointment of a jobs protection commissioner and the creation of an Ontario manufacturing investment tax credit.
