NDP Member Not Pleased With Deal

The Provincial Government is being hammered for a $7-billion green electricity deal it signed last week with Samsung.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton says the deal will have absolutely no economic benefit for Northern Ontario.
Hampton says all the solar and wind projects will be located in Southern Ontario and won’t provide any employment opportunities for this region.
The NDP member adds the deal will likely mean much higher electricity bills for people in this region.
