NDP MP Looks at Stimulus Program

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty is disappointed to hear the Federal stimulus program hasn’t failed to live up to the Government’s promise of job creation.
A report from the Parliamentary budget officer suggests that just 21% of municipalities receiving infrastructure funding reported increases in local employment.
Rafferty says the development of a national job strategy would have gone a long way to getting more people employed.
