The Federal NDP is calling on Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day to
address the dangerous conditions facing police officers in Northern Ontario.
The call comes after Kasabonika Lake First Nation was forced to close
its police station resulting in the transfer of prisoners to Sioux Lookout.
Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus says some communities don’t have
policing after 2-am.
