NDP Refusing to Let HST Issue Die

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton and Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty want the voting public to make the harmonized sales tax an election issue immediately.
The two New Democrats held an on-line discussion on the HST last Friday and Hampton feels public pressure will help kill the controversial tax.
Hampton notes the McGuinty Liberals have flip-flopped on issues in the past.
He adds the implementation of the HST will be the largest tax increase ever for ordinary people.
