The NDP says it’s time the Liberal government comes clean about the problems caused by a computer system put in place to handle social assistance payments.
NDP critic Cindy Forster says an internal memo from the Ministry of Community and Social Services issued to staff on Friday, indicates about a dozen different issues that will take at least ten weeks to resolve.
Forster says the government was careless to put Ontario’s most vulnerable at the mercy of unreliable software.
