NDP Upset with Status of ‘Buy Ontario’ Bill

A New Democrat MPP is heaping scorn on Thunder Bay-Atikokan Liberal
Bill Mauro for quietly withdrawing his private members ‘Buy Ontario’ Bill.
Gilles Bisson says that Mauro gave up his Bill’s spot for debate in the
Legislature yesterday.
Bisson adds that if Mauro was serious about helping Northwestern
Ontario, he would have stood behind his piece of legislation.
Bisson notes that the NDP would have supported the Bill which would
have required more public transit money to be spent at home.
