Dryden Police are trying to encourage residents to sign up for the Neighbourhood Watch program.
This comes following an announcement that the Dryden Block Parent Group is no more.
Detective Sergeant Ann Tkachyk says Neighbourhood Watch is an important tool for police.
The goal is to prevent crime before it happens by watching out for your neighbour and reporting suspicious activity.
Tkachyk notes by adding more members, they hope to deter criminals from committing various offences.
Over 514-members are signed up for Neighbourhood Watch so far.
