Nellie Cain
September 8, 1947 – January 21, 2011
In loving memory of Nellie Cain who passed away peacefully in her home, after a short battle with cancer, with her family by her side. Nellie is survived by her husband Don of 46 years, daughters Patty Cain (Shawn Jardine), and Angela Fediuk, grandchildren Lizabeth, Dawn-Marie, Adam, Devin, and Jakob, great grandchildren Brandon, Stephanie, and Marissa, siblings Margaret (Len) Sweeting, Carla Ricklefs and partner Basil, Randy Ricklefs and Ricky Ricklefs as well as Jean Right, numerous nieces, nephews and very good friend of the family Ria. Nellie was predeceased by her daughter Dawn-Marie, mom Sophie and dad Martin Ricklefs. Nellie had several hobbies which included fishing, cooking, sewing, love of the outdoors and camping. Nellie worked at Egli’s Sheep Farm sewing from home for 19 years. Nellie had a great sense of humor right to the end. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Nellie’s Life will take place at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Mazurski and the nurses at the DRHC.
