New Addition For Wasaya Airways

Wasaya Airways continues to add to its fleet.

The company officially unveiled its new aircraft at a ceremony Wednesday.

The Dash 8-100 is being named after the late Harvey Kakegamic of Sandy Lake First Nation.

The northwestern Ontario airline says it has a short take off and landing capability, making it perfect for the remote communities the company serves.

The plane can also carry 37 guests and large amounts of cargo.
