“New Approach” Plan

The Provincial Government has launched its “New Approach” plan to help
strengthen aboriginal communities.
The strategy will improve both formal and informal dialogue between
Cabinet Ministers and First Nation leaders.
The Liberals plan to implement a new urban-rural aboriginal children
and youth program, develop an education policy and establish a new Northern
table to address regional challenges.
The Government also hopes to implement a sport and physical activity
strategy focused on First Nation youth.
