New at Health Sciences Centre

Cardiac Patients in Thunder Bay now have a new Angioplasty short stay care area at the Regional Health Sciences Centre. The unit is designed to give patients who need to stay overnight a quiet place to rest. Doctor Marc Henderson says its part of the Cardiac unit’s ongoing expansion.
Henderson he hopes the Health Sciences Centre will be able to conduct open heart surgery in Thunder Bay within three years.
